As kids we were told we would have to go to “the school of hard knocks” to learn life lessons. Over the years I attended that school many times. It was there I learned what really makes a difference in life. It’s all about the choice we make.

Your Warrior post also touches on this with the words, “the great wisdom of the Warrior lies in choosing his insanity wisely. ” Isn’t that the truth?

You are a great student, if this post has in any way taught or reminded you something. I’m happy for you in your soul growth. It can pose quite a challenge initially in identifying patterns of negative behavior, actions or events. Once you are able to see the reality of your situation, you would have started transcending your trails and tribulations.

@Lance, oh yes….there can be lessons in almost every aspect of life. If only we can stop to reflect and ponder sometimes….

@Mike, I am glad that you like my Warrior post. Most certainly, it is a reminder about not beating ourselves up in the face of failure, and to embrace ourselves in every way. It’s great that you are encouraging others to not fear trying!! Good one there!

You present life lessons in a way that is easy to understand and is also hopeful. I like the idea that we are here to learn and experience lessons. I also like that we are give many opportunities to learn our lessons.

In your post, I particularly was taken with this line, “Passing life tests starts with realization. You realize what your life lessons are about, in the challenges that life poses.”

I think it’s very important to do as you said and look at the repeating scenes in your life. I know in mine, I see fear of betrayal and abandonment, which leads to lack of trust.

Knowing this, when I feel hurt and angry at someone, I always try to ask myself if I’m feeling betrayed or abandoned in some way. If the answer is yes, then I know I need to mentally say STOP…this is your past, not your present.

Trying to leave a comment on your warrior of the light post, which I really enjoyed, especially how honest it is about failure and never giving up. I often encourage failing because to never fail is to never try and to never try is to never live.

I’m happy that you were back here too. Oh no…I didn’t take your comments to be critical. Your thoughts were largely shaped by your own experiences. You were merely sharing your point of view.

In general, if I experience any feelings of criticism, then it represents an opportunity to understand what my resistance is about. I use a range of techniques to help myself overcome my blocks. I call the learning that comes from it is a “lesson”….LOL! I view it as something that I need to evolve from. Words like “lessons” or “classes” make things very understandable for myself and to a lot of people.

Then again, as mentioned to Daphne previously, well known clinical hypnotherapists had documented and used words like “life lessons” too based on reports from their clients in their trance in-between lives (thereby meaning as a spirit and not as a human) state.

However, words or thoughts will never form our Truth until we are the ones having the direct experience of knowing the real nature of things. Also, what works for me in terms of seeing things in their true light may not work for you. You have your own unique path. There is also every beauty in diversity.

I encourage you to go for the life changes you are contemplating on, if they resonate well. Even if it is a wrong step that you take, there is no such thing as failure, only feedback!! In other words, you have everything to gain by stepping up!

Stillness is a lovely lesson. I take that almost everyday. I enjoy the aliveness that can sometimes com from a session in stillness.
