Thank you for this post! I especially liked the “7 action items” you listed. So many sites share grand ideas, but very few have actual practical steps that everyone can take…action items…to show them the path. I intend to use yours as a springboard for my own ideas. So thanks again!

When you’re setting your goals for 2009 (if you haven’t already done so), make sure you have goals for a ‘Personal/Spiritual’ category. That’s where you will want to put meditation or taking courses to help you get there.

If your path has been a similar one, then I’m sure that you can understand how truly abundant and blessed I feel as you’ve felt the same way too. It’s great that you’ve got people who are highly supportive of you, and you of them. Such friendships are riches that we need to treasure!!

@Leigh, thanks for subscribing. Becoming less guarded opens only the “possibility” to more hurt but it not necessarily be so. Most definitely, I’ve got far more positive experiences than negative ones when I decide to let my guard down. Kudos to you in deciding on becoming more open!!

@B., you are right that once we decide to take charge, inner changes start to accelerate. Thanks for sharing!

Evelyn, it’s funny, the way you describe your 2008 experience sounds as if you were talking about me. I have learned a lot in 2008 through a very tough situation and it has opened my eyes immensely. My 2009 intention is to continue to grow to be the very best person I can be. Not only for myself but also for the people that believe in me the most and see potential in me. I also want to see them be the very best because I know that when they continue to follow their hearts, they will be able to achieve everything they want out of life.
