Wow Evelyn, this is incredible. I just learnt about parallel universe but in theory, not from experience. I certainly don’t remember dreaming about being a butterfly. I’m amazed that you’ve actually experienced this. Gives me a lot of food for thought.

I have always been convinced of a parallel universe. I get glimpses in the hypnogogic state, different furniture than my own around me. I often visit the same places in my dreams. I usually fly there as well.

Long years ago, a Zen Master also had a dream in which he was flitting around like a butterfly. Since he woke up he has been unable to decide whether he is the master who dreamed about the butterfly or he was the butterfly dreaming that he was the master with the students.

Hi Kelly, I definitely know what you mean about not having info to work on. I don’t have enough info myself. That was why I found it strange that the term “parallel universe” came to me, out of the blue. Was I watching any sci-fi movie this period? No way!! Neither was I reading any book related to this subject.

All I knew was that it took one picture, surfing the web for an inspirational quote and falling asleep while meditating to trigger the dream for me.

I have heard about astral projection. I’m not sure if they are the same thing. Like you, I “appear” to be new to this type of info or experiences. But strangely, I have been getting messages these two days that these should not be new to me. It is an instinctive sense that I have traveled to far more places beyond Earth and this physical realm.

Well, I’m going to explore further on this topic. I’m for experiential learning. I’m going to practice more consciousness of where my dreams are going to take me. Stay tuned!!

What a thought provoking post, Evelyn. I’m not sure what I believe in this regard as I haven’t really considered the whole concept of parallel universes too seriously before. I wouldn’t say “No they don’t exist”, but I feel like I don’t have enough information to have any reality on the subject, if you know what I mean.

I have experienced astral travel before though on numerous occasions, particularly when I was a child. Is this the same thing?

Love the photo of the butterfly though. It would have inspired me too if I’d received it in an email.
