I have just republished a video, with abundance affirmations that you can say along to. When I reviewed my archives last week, I realized that there were 37 abundance affirmations embedded inside the video that I created some time ago. So I updated it with new soothing music, my website address and proceeded to type out the affirmations (I could not find my original source file) from the video.

Abundance Affirmation #24: I experience the world in all its glory!

Indeed my life is one Big Adventure (see also Abundance Affirmation #26)! In terms of travel, I have been lucky enough to have vacationed in many countries; including the United States, Mexico, Spain, England, France, Austria, Amsterdam, Italy, Australia, China, Thailand, Indonesia, and my neighboring country, Malaysia. Even then, I am not quite down yet with half the world yet.

Well, the June school holidays have just started! It is time for a family vacation again! I will be flying off to…..Tokyo this time (see my Travel Vision Board below). I confess to being a big Disney fan, so I will be there to visit Disneyland and DisneySea.

While there have been many times previously that I have traveled on budget, I am going to be holidaying in a little style this time….flying on the Airbus 380 with Singapore Airlines and staying in the luxurious Sheraton that is situated on a bay overlooking the ocean. My kids are also very excited about the trip!

Famous movie actor Jim Carrey wrote himself a fake ten million check for “acting services rendered” at a time when he was a struggling artiste. He was specific in the “what” and not the “how”:
- He specified $10 million.
- He dated the check “Thanksgiving 1995″ in the year 1987.

How to Write the Abundance Check

1. Write name of payee in the space provided following the words “Pay To”.

2. Fill in today’s date of the New Moon if you are expecting the amount sometime soon. Alternatively, you can also put the date as sometime in the future eg. one year from the New Moon Date.

3. Write in a dollar amount. If you do not wish to write a specific amount, simply put “Unlimited Abundance”. However, set the intention to allow your subconscious to specify the required amount and the Universe to respond accordingly in your Highest Good.

4. Under the memo, you can specify anything. Examples include “Law of Attraction”, “For Services Rendered”, “”This or something better in my Highest Good”, “With Gratitude”, etc.

When To Write Abundance Check

Apparently, you need to write it within 24 hours of the new moon. One site even advised that the maximum is a three-day dateline. I suppose if you take into account international time differences, a three day time frame appears about right.

Manifesting Your Abundance Check Tips

1. Be, feel and think abundance as you write your check. If you are feeling stressed and worried about your finances, please release your negative emotions first. You do not want to manifest the lack, rather than the abundance, of prosperity.

2. Do not write an amount that is too much of a stretch on your beliefs. Start on an amount that is believable. Refrain from doubting.

3. Visualize yourself receiving the money or other forms of abundance in gratitude and happiness, after writing the check.

4. You can choose to put the check in your wallet or put it away. Putting it in your wallet assists you with focused energy. It is like having a mini-vision board in the form of an Abundance Check.

However, if you find yourself feeling distressed or doubting the process each time you look at the check upon opening your wallet, I suggest that you keep it in your drawer and not carry it around.

Once again, make a note of any negative feelings or state you may experience when thinking about the Abundance Check. Take the opportunity to do some release work; whether with Emotional Freedom Technique or The Sedona Method. 5. Continue to keep the positive vibes up daily by aligning with better-feeling thoughts.

Set Intentions During The New Moon

Go ahead and write a number of checks!! New Moon dates also work well for other intention setting, not just for the manifesting of financial abundance. So if it is not money, you can also choose to put down whether it is good health, relationships or anything that you wish to intend for. You can also use the checks for blessings of love, peace or prosperity for everyone. Give them as a gift to others!

Imagine floating your fantasies wrapped in pink bubbles into the air and allowing the Universe to bring them in manifestation! Sounds like fun? Well, it is. However, more than just a game, engaging in the creative visualization exercise can apparently help give your dreams some lift.

The pink bubble technique is something that Shakti Gawain, an internationally renowned teacher of consciousness, teaches. Shakti has facilitated thousands of individuals in developing greater awareness, balance and wholeness in their lives.

How to Use the Pink Bubble Technique

I have been floating and popping pink bubbles myself. If you wish to do the same, here are the steps for the pink bubble technique:

1. Sit or lie down and relax.

2. Close your eyes and focus your mind on your breath.

3. Go deeper and deeper into relaxation.

4. Imagine something that you would like to manifest and that it has already happened. See, feel and sense. Picture it as clearly as you can.

5. In your mind’s eye, place this vision or goal inside a pink bubble. Pink is the color of your heart. It represents your heart’s desire.

6. Let go of the bubble. Visualize the bubble floating off into the universe, containing your vision. Tell yourself that you are “letting go” of it. Allow the bubble to float around in the universe, attracting and gathering energy for its manifestation.

Activate Your Intention

The following are some additional steps to activate your intention that I would like to include:

1. Say “thank you” three times to the Universe sincerely immediately after the visualization exercise.

2. Have a sense of expectancy. Refrain from doubting if it is ever coming true. When you put an order to the Universe, do not question if it is going to happen.

If you have been thinking of creating a wealth vision board, how about incorporating feng shui elements and pictures into it? There are many feng shui symbols for wealth, luck and prosperity. We can see them in huge display at shopping centers and stores this time of the year.

If you don’t already know, Chinese New Year celebrations start this weekend and last for a period of fifteen days. Decorations in red, gold and yellow and sweet delicacies that promise to melt prosperity in your mouth are being sold aplenty!

While I am no feng shui expert, I do have some very basic knowledge of the symbols used. After all, I was brought up in an environment decorated with Chinese antique furniture, auspicious paintings and mythical statues for wealth and well-being. Just this morning, I decided to make use of what I know, plus some research and creative skills, to demonstrate how we can create a feng shui vision board.

What is Feng Shui?

According to About.com, “Feng shui is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China. It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure the health and good fortune for people inhabiting it.”

Feng means wind and shui means water. Good feng shui means good luck and bad Feng shui means bad luck. Feng shui is based on a Taoist understanding of nature and qi (energy), and the harmony between yin and yang.

8 Feng Shui Symbols for Wealth Vision Board

Here are some symbols or images to represent good fortune that you can use for your wealth vision board….

1. Laughing Buddha. The laughing Buddha (see picture above) is my all-time favorite symbol. I cannot help smiling whenever I look at it! Its chubby looks and large earlobes (to represent wealth) is absolutely endearing! The laughing Buddha is sold in many Chinese antique or feng shui shops. Apparently, you receive extra wealth points if you get one featured with gold ingots!

2. Prosperity. The chinese word for wealth or “fu” is often posted upside down on the front door of a home. The upside down fu when spoken in Chinese is “fu dau” which also means wealth arrived.

3. Fish. The word “fish” (or yu) in chinese represent excess. Choose the koi fish as a symbol of abundance. I enjoy watching koi swim. There is much grace and fluidity in the fish’s movements. And every koi is unique in its color, shape and size. The gold or bright orange ones are a hot favorite to represent wealth. A picture alternative to the koi is the goldfish. Select images of three gold fish in a bowl or eight koi carp to invite good fortune into your home of business.

4. Flowing Water. Waterfalls represent flowing energy of abundance. My parents have a large Chinese painting of a beautiful waterfall in their living room. If you cannot find pictures of waterfalls that you like, images of moving water will also do!

5. Money Plant. Consider having money plant indoors! Money plants are very easy to grow. At least in tropical climate. They flourish with little care! Be sure to trim away brown leaves. Any signs of death or ill health is considered bad luck! If you do not have money plants, then find pictures of them to paste into your vision board!

6. Gold Coins. Nothing beats a picture focus of a treasure chest overflowing with gold coins! During the Chinese New Year period, when you give three gold coins tied with red ribbon, positive feng shui is created for both the receiver and giver! Six gold coins is also considered lucky!

7. Lucky Bamboo. I like the appearance of the soft green leaves of the bamboo plant. Bamboo plants represent wealth and prosperity as well as longevity and good health. They are easily available nowadays. You can consider having a pot of lucky bamboo on your office desk even! Lucky bamboo enjoy warmer temperatures of between 65ºF and 90ºF. Do not place the plants in front of air conditioning or heating vents, however.

8. Fu Lu Shou. The Fuk Lu Shou (also known as Three Star Gods) is a well favored symbol with businessmen, executives and high ranking government officials. They also appear in many chinese holdholds as they represent the integration of: Happiness/Descendants Luck, Power/Success/Prosperity and Longevity/Health. The picture I have is a wood carving of the Fu Lu Shou I have at home. Most Chinese prefer them in ornate statues though.

Colors For Feng Shui Wealth Vision Board

Pick rich colors to represent wealth. These include bright yellow, gold, red, purple and green.

Digital or Cut-and-Paste Vision Board

The vision boards I created here are all made with my photoshop software for illustration purposes. However, you can just as easily spend some time flipping through magazines for pictures to cut and paste.

Where to Place Your Feng Shui Vision Board

The following 4 feng shui placement tips came from Marie Diamond and are featured from the Vision Board book:

1. Always place your feng shui vision board somewhere where you can see it, in your office, your bedroom or your living room.

2. Place your feng shui vision board where there is beautiful energy; definitely not in your cupboard or bathroom.

3. Have your feng shui wealth vision board in a place where there is life and action.

4. Be sure to place your feng shui wealth vision board at eye level so that you can focus on it.

Another 4 extra tips:

1. Hang your feng shui board at the entrance of your house, to usher in wealth.

2. Be sure to choose pictures of incoming wealth rather than outflowing abundance.

3. Place indoor plants at south east corners to up your wealth quotient!

4. Never put your wealth symbols in the toilet! Avoid having the representation of flushing away your good fortune!

4-plus-4 tips bring us to the number eight, once again! The number eight when pronounced sounds very similar to “strike” in chinese. As with “strike lottery”, eight is considered an auspicious number to attract good fortune.

If you do not already have the feng shui items physically, I recommend sourcing for images to have them on your wealth vision board. Some of the pictures I have used here are free from Dreamstime, while others are photos that I have taken (feel free to download them for your own use)!

Final Note

As shared in the previous year, the Chinese has a habit of clearing out the clutter before ushering in the new year. So this has been a rather busy period for me, not just with clearing physical clutter but subconscious ones! Well, I am not the only one hoping to start the chinese calendar year on an auspicious note. I have been getting requests from clients with energy clearing work as well. The intent or power word that best resonates with me right now is Creation. It represents the birthing of ideas into fruition. It is about the need to be authentic to my inner vision and to trust that the marketplace will support me in my work. In being authentic, it is about claiming ownership what is inherent in me all along – my creative self. Of course, Creation and Creativity springs from Abundance – the power word which drives my overall intent and this blog.

Creativity

For a long time, I associated creativity with artistic talents. Well, I never did not have the chance to develop my artistic abilities from young. Perhaps it was because I did okay in my academic results. So there never was a reason for me to consider studying art seriously. After all, based on popular beliefs and perhaps back in the old days for the majority of artists, the creative profession was never known to be a career that paid well. Compare that to being a banker, accountant, lawyer or a doctor. And so I never got that much of a chance to pick up the paint brush as much as I would like to have.

What was great was once I started my banking career, however, I could afford classes that encourage creativity. I dabbled in pottery, folk art, jewelry design, and graphic design in my spare time. At one stage, I also made some loose change from selling my creations; even though I did not have any proper qualifications. The beginning signs of an entrepreneur? However, I put a stop to all my hobbies with the birth of my two girls.

About three to four years back, I started focusing on inner work. I spent my available time doing energy releases, past life clearing and meditation; as first helping myself, then my family, friends and clients. There was hardly time for anything else, on top of minding my two young kids.

What emerged interestingly, was the chance to develop other aspects of creativity with the rise of this blog. Writing for it allowed me self-expression. I found myself happily designing headers, and spending hours making mind movies, creating videos, amending my photos, etc. I did almost everything on my own. In the last year, I started also using my own photos to go with the posts I publish. Okay…so I didn’t follow the rulebook of top internet marketers – that is to outsource design work to freelancers in India. But hey, I really enjoyed myself in the process!!

And so it is for me. Creativity is not just about painting a picture or designing a logo. It is how I can integrate many aspects of my life together in a creative output. Work is a seamless expression of my true nature. I still do not have all the answers on how the “final” output is going to look like. I suspect that there is no “final” product to begin with. Because my work is constantly evolving. Who I am is constantly evolving.

I make the intent to bring out the playful, creative and fun side of myself even greater this year. When I work from an inner creative space, I am connected to my feelings. In the silence, I can guided by an inner voice on how best to express myself. I am no Picasso but most certainly, my works are creations made with love.

(In a recent survey titled “I Can’t Get No…Job Satisfaction, That Is”, a survey funded by 2000 corporations around the world showed job satisfaction at lowest level. While other polls showed relatively stable numbers, this survey reported a decline. What was interesting to me was that in the same newspaper report – Straits Times Monday Jan 18 – it was said that the happiest workers are people in helping professions or doing creative work!! )

Creation

Incidentally, I received a number of “signs” that have affirmed the same power word of Creation for me. For instance, when I used my favorite pack of divination cards at the start of this year, I pulled out “Ostara: Fertility” card. On the card were the words “It is the perfect time for you to start new projects, access new ideas, and give birth to new conditions”.

Most certainly, with a card like “Ostara”, you won’t find me sitting on my butt and twiddling my thumbs for too long!

Gratitude

I started the year with the intent of “Inspiration” but had a gnawing feeling that I wanted something new to connect with. With regards to intent of inspiration, as of some time ago, I have decided that I would like to inspire others through my site. My intent is to show others the qualities with which I craft my life, inspiring others to do the same with theirs.

Then, I woke up this morning with the word: Gratitude. I realized that in recent weeks, I kept coming to the message of showing thanks and appreciation in several places. I have more thoughts to share on this. Do keep a lookout for the post!

Year of Planting Seeds

Life is one big adventure for me! Naturally so, ever since I have taken the less trodden path of becoming self-employed. I believe that 2010 will be another exciting year for me.

I have started the year with the birth of Affirmation Mart. It sure seems to be the year for planting seeds and watching them take root and grow.

Well, let’s just see how my intent of Creation, Creativity and Gratitude plays out! I look forward to the unfolding of my journey!! May the fun begin!

Setting new year resolutions appears to be passe amongst spiritually-aware personal development experts. More people are recommending using intentions or themes to guide our directions at the start of a new year.

Since two years ago, I have also personally found it more helpful to be setting intentions rather than be engaged in traditional resolution setting. In fact, I have found that the use of power words and phrases – to encapsulate the essence or the meaning of the intent – very effective.

Difference Between Setting Intentions and New Year Resolutions

What is the difference, you may ask?

Well, my perspective comes from personal experience. For the most part, new year resolution setting has been pretty much a left-brained activity for me. My resolutions were externally driven or were chosen because they would make me look good. In fact, it was easy to simply adopt a few – if not one – from a pool of widely known ones. Well, as far as I could remember, I never quite stuck to my New Year Resolutions as soon as I have made them.

On the other hand, picking the right intentions involves our intuition. It requires an awareness of our inner desires, the stirring of our heart. It is about bringing ourselves into alignment. The alignment is with a desired aspect of life that we are working on. Because it is about aligning ourselves, setting intentions also comes with addressing our resistances. Inner work may be required when we observe that we are out-of-alignment. Throughout the year, based on our ongoing experiences, it may be necessary to make any changes to our intents as appropriate.

The process does not generate any sense of perceived “failure” or not living up to our resolutions per se. Setting intents is not a once-a-year activity; rather it is a process that naturally unfolds as we evolve. Because of this, I keep an intention-setting journal by my bedside to keep track of changes arising throughout the year. It is interesting to note how my intents have shifted to today’s.

Power Words for Visioning

From studying the the science of visioning, I learn that it is a good idea to keep our intents or vision statements short and snappy. Having a power word, phrase or motto – that sums up the essence of what we desire – keeps us focused.

Indeed, the use of power words can serve as an ongoing mantra or motto. The Vision Board Book shared about the one compelling word for the Shroyers family that helped in achieving a life of their dreams. Keith Shroyer sprayed a wall – ten by twelve foot – in his living room with the word “freedom”. “Freedom” served as their guiding vision, motto and statement all rolled into one. Eventually, Keith moved from a dead-end job to a life of financial freedom. His family now lives in a boat.

While intention setting comes from within, it is not that we have to come up with something new. More importantly, choosing the appropriate power word or phrase to adopt for visioning must be able to elicit an emotional response from us. Power comes when we are able to connect deeply with the meaning behind the word, phrase or motto.

To help ignite inspiration, I came up with a list of 30 power words for those who are new to intention setting. I also provide some examples of actions that can be taken to support and activate each vision.

Less is More

Don’t make the mistake of cluttering your visioning or intention setting process with too many power words (see picture at the top of my post) either! My suggestion is to choose one or fewer than three at any one time. The picture below is a vision board that I made to illustrate the right use of power words….

There can be several guidelines to be aware of, in the setting of intentions. When applied cohesively, they can be extremely helpful in bringing your intents to fruition powerfully.

In the setting of intents, should you have missed the date 11-11-2009 altogether, you wouldn’t want to miss out on the coming one – 29.11.09 (add up 2 and 9 – then 11 – then add up 2 and 9 again). As I have shared in a previous post on intention setting, the triple-eleven combination of 11-11-11 has a particular magic for manifestations. The last time that presented a triple-eleven number was in the year 1901.

Based on my on-going experience with setting intentions, here is a summary of tips I have picked up that I would like to share with you:

1. Set Intentions Powerfully. Be clear and specific. Know what you want, otherwise you send out conflicting intents.

2. Involve Visioning. Instead of just visualization, consider incorporating visioning. Don’t know the difference? Here are some quotes from The Vision Board Book, to help in your understanding:

“Visioning is a self-exploration process that involves a combination of “soul searching” and meditation, and even incorporates improvisation techniques.”

“Visioning differs dramatically from visualization. Visioning is a process where your soul reveals your heart’s desires, prompted by a circle of like-minded supporters who add their insights. Traditionally, visioning is a group exercise. Visualization is more often an individual technique where you picture a desired outcome or goal.”

3. Align Your Intention. My experience has been that making intents for pure egoistical material fulfillment seldom works out meaningfully for me. I would continue to be in a state of discontent, with mostly negative experiences. While universal laws should work every single time if we apply them properly, my suggestion is to align intent with a higher purpose.

Your higher purpose invariably involves how you can best serve others while being true to yourself. You will be surprised how much universal support you garner when you bring a greater spiritual meaning to your physical experience.

4. Connect Emotionally. This is no longer a secret with all LOA (Law of Attraction) students. Create your intent in an inner environment of emotional connection. Connect with how it feels with already “owning” the desired intent.

5. Obey the 68 Second Rule. Hold the intent in your being for at least 68 seconds. Don’t know why? Read my previous post on 68 seconds miracle.

6. Gratitude Now. Be in the state of gratitude when making the intent. Acknowledge your current blessings. Acknowledge with a thank you for what-is-to-come, as if you are already in receipt of it.

7. Work with Your Resistances. If you notice a resistance, work with it first and then go back to set the intent. Surely you would not want to end up manifesting the tail enders or find yourself in self-sabotage?

I had continued to update my personal vision board in the last two weeks. While working on it one day, I started to notice a resistance inside me. Gradually, I recognized it to be a fear of living up to my full potential. Setting higher intents triggered an unease of moving out of my comfort zone. I started to recall this quote by Marianne Williamson which I have often come across……

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Needless to say, I found myself in an afternoon of doing inner release work right after recognizing my resistances.

8. Practice Art of Surrender. Surrender the “how”. Avoid getting into the mindless activity of wondering how the universe is going to bring your intent to manifestation. Have every trust that what you asked for is being worked on. The art of surrender also requires you to be non-attached to the outcome of your intent.

9. Have Gap Awareness. Have an awareness of the gap between what you are asking for and what you already have. If what you are asking for is a huge jump, do not doubt that it is not possible but at the same time, expect that you would need more time in bringing yourself up vibrationally to match the frequency of your intent. Then again, as I have read in metaphysics books, quantum leaps are very possible in the world of energy. So manifestations can be even in an instant if you manage to bring yourself into a vibrational match! What helps is also working on your beliefs!

10. Signify Your Intention with Immediate Action. This tip follows point 2. Set your intents to work by following up on your visioning process. There are a lot of action ideas that you can take. According to a number of LOA coaches, it is important that you take the obvious actions signifying your intent to the Universe. Here are some:

- If you are making the intent for a romantic partner, you may want to look into picking up extra weekend activities that allows you to meet someone.

- If you are making the intent for a new car to take you to work, you may want to look into passing your driving test first!

- If you are making the intent for a new house in a new location, soak up the atmosphere by moving there or driving round the new neighborhood regularly first. (Currently, what I am doing )

- If you are making the intent for more money, make space for creative ideas to drop in. In short, taking time out for meditation can be helpful!

Conclusion

1. Get Your Antenna Up. I always tell my friends/clients that the Universe may have already been responding to their requests physically not longer after they have made them. The problem is that they are not getting their antenna up. I call this “the antenna of awareness”. Don’t have fixated ideas of what the Universe is going to send you. Be simply aware and open, while keeping your mind focused on the qualities of what you have asked for.

2. Art of Setting Intention. As you can probably guess by now, setting intents is an art. It is not traditional goal-setting. It has been an adventure for me in getting all the elements together! When my intents are not manifesting, it is finding out which areas I have missed out on in getting my vibrations up. Universal laws always work! No doubt about it. The question is really on how properly I have applied universal laws or whether I am in resistance to something.

Well, if you are an abundance alchemist like me, then let us not pass up on the opportunity to set intents on this auspicious day: 11.11.2009. Slade Roberson first alerted us all in the significance of the date in his post 11.11.2009. He shared that “ 2009 can be reduced (2+0+0+9) to 11, rendering the entire month of November an 1111 — a master manifestation number that indicates doorways opening, a creative portal for setting new intentions, and particularly a time of inspiration and illumination.”

The date November 11, 2009 (11.11.2009), which is today, is a triple-eleven numerology.

Intention Setting

Yes, traditional goal setting for the new year may seem early in the month of November but intention setting is not quite the same. Intention setting requires you to also work with your intuition, intellect, inner aligned desires and spiritual guides. It is not a once-a-year exercise but a continuous evolving process of alignment that reveals the next action step in an inspired manner. Setting your intents on a triple-eleven date draws magic, resources and universal support especially when you align inner passion with higher purpose.

A simple way to setting intents? Create a vision board, if you have not made one yet. Creating a vision board is not just a weekend cut-and-paste activity of your favorite pictures from lifestyle magazines. There is a science behind creating one. As Joyce Schwarz, author to the best-selling The Vision Board book, will tell you, creating a vision board involves visioning in the setting of your intentions. Of course, this same book is a favorite of mine. It featured a photo of the vision board that I did last year.

Does setting intents work? Absolutely! My intents have worked miraculously even whilst I move step-by-step in the process of aligning inner passion to higher purpose. I have not quite unlocked the keys to creation altogether but results have been amazing, even with the few that I have applied. At a time when the world was in recession, my income hit an all-time high (overtaking my last drawn salary as a banker).

Set Intents with Vision Boards

Anything useful tip about visioning and setting intents? Well, when I submitted a photo image of my vision board to the Vision Board book last year, I had no idea what Joyce had to share. Reading the book after its publication made me realize that one of the things that was glaringly missing from my vision board was: the absence of any associated pictures.

Joyce did not explain things in the way of “association” but she certainly highlighted the usefulness of having our own pictures in the vision board. If I may now add by using the study and application of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) submodalites to explain things, association means being immersed in one’s own experience (present, remembered, or imagined), whereas dissociation means thinking of oneself in the way that one thinks of another person. In the vision board that I have created previously, I realized that I had overlooked having my own pictures in it. As such, I did not fully connect emotionally by visualizing myself in the imagery.

So about two months ago, I created a new personal vision board with my photos in it. I spent yesterday updating the same vision board (see picture above). I am not finished with it yet. What was interesting was that while I was using my image editing software last night, I suddenly noticed that the phrase “At One with Nature” in the corner of my old vision board (the one I did last year). All this time, I had not realized the subconscious impact of the picture of a lady meditating in the midst of lush green trees with the words “At One with Nature”, leading me to create my new series of Nature Tapestry Notes. I decided to include the same phrase in my new vision board.

I intend to spend the rest of today (11.11.2009) making changes in a flow of setting intents, creative visioning and inspired ideas.

Nature provides us with several wise insights about creation, if we only bother to stop and contemplate. The problem is that we have become so busy in our individual lives that we have failed to interact with nature.

We overlook or disregard how connected we are as One not just amongst the human species but including all of nature (the realm of various types of living plants and animals). We take little care about our environment even while it provides resources that sustain us.

First of all, let us recognize that there is an Intelligence that creates and governs all of nature. Intelligence is a creative and abundant force. Think of the reproductive process of all living species. There is an Intelligence that brought about the changing of seasons, the migration of birds, the pollination of flowers, singing of the birds, the morphing of a butterfly from a caterpillar, the miraculous birth of a child; to name a few.

All of nature comes together in a synchronistic dance. There is constant renewal and rejuvenation. Every piece is perfect in its creation. Every piece has its place. Each piece fits into a complex yet connected tapestry of life.

Therefore, the process of creation is not random as it may first appear to be. In fact, creation is really a product initiated by the mind. Quantum physics has already proven that everything in the Universe is energy. We are all made of consciousness or thought. All of existence come about as a result of a belief, thought or an idea.

Intention

There can be a zillion thoughts that run through our minds every day but what we give energy to, we manifest. We create consciously through the power of our intent. Intention dictates how our creative thoughts unfold. The Universe simply complies with our requests – without exception – every single time! Our beliefs are bound to manifest in something.

Hence, the less conflicting signals you send out, the more singular your intents will be. The more focused your intents are, the stronger is the creative force. There is really no need or cause for worry if you have already sent out your intents. Patience is needed on your part, as energies are denser in the physical world and require time to take shape.

Then again, the process does not mean that you sit on your butt either. You back your intents up with affirming actions. Mere wishing is not the same as intents. With wishing, you do not have belief that it can come true. With intents, you have every belief and trust that you are already in possession of what is coming!

Consciousness

We can choose to create our reality consciously or we can go about life unaware about how our choices are affecting our reality. When we are ruled by the ego, we allow our life to be run by external forces. We manifest the exact life situation that our thoughts are about – chaos, conflict, negativity, trauma or sickness.

Our emotions are indicators of the thoughts behind them. They form our guiding system. With conscious awareness of how we are feeling, we recognize if we are in alignment or out of alignment in our thoughts, ideas and beliefs to our true essence. Hence, when we move in alignment with our feelings, we bring about congruence in terms of our thoughts. We recognize that we really wish to move away from feeling fear to peace, sadness to joy, envy to hope, etc.

Awakened consciousness is when we are in continuous awareness of who we really are. We are Source. Since Source is expansive, abundant and infinite, it simply means that our intents can bring the expressions of these qualities into physical forms. It happens when our intents are clear, sharp and focused. Energy takes shape in the physical realm to match our desires. Including all of nature.

Be it a scene on the vastness of the sea or a singular flower from the earthy ground. Every now and then, I’d review my photos with fond memories of how each captured moment has felt complete for me.
