I definitely agree that practice is not always easy. No one can also really advise you what to do. There is every free will and free choice. You are ultimately responsible for whatever path you decide to take.

What we need to remember is that we live in a world where there is cause and effect. Our actions today can bring about a specific consequence. I don’t mean to scare you but it is true. Wise actions lead to good outcomes but unwise actions lead to outcomes that are less than desirable. Are you prepared for the consequences?

As an Intuitive Consultant, I share from the perspective that if we do not make the wise choices, it is possible that we will need to go through lifetime after lifetime of the same learning experiences.

Hi,
I’m overwhelmed with what I read on this site; seems like it has been written for me … However, though I can agree with a lot of the ideas, practice is not always that easy. I’m married, mother of 3 angles, and on a recent business trip I fell in love; it feels / felt like heaven. This person sent me the quote ‘be careful what you wish for’. And no, I won’t give up my children, won’t take that sacrifice, but still I can’t let go. I don’t want to give him up … it’s like an obsession … And as I also read on this website, there’s no one I can share this with … feeling all alone, indeed. Bit of advice would be appreciated

Kelly, oh…you just made my day with your lovely feedback!! I am so glad that you got back online. But as I have implied on your site, downtime is also good time. I’m glad to know that you used the time away from your PC to do some productive reading and reflection.

Indeed, it is often the case that we get what we wanted, but not in the way we have expected it to be. However, when we take a step back to ponder over, what we are getting may be in our best interest.

Still, getting what we want in exactly the way we ask is a great skill to horne. I am learning it myself!! I wish you all the best in your journey and trust that you will always be happy and well!!

@Caroline, I have already got most of what I wished for from the last vision board I created…LOL!! I’m still working on the rest and am beginning to see why it is taking up more time for these.

@Pink Ink, I’m glad that you are asking questions about the type of novel you want and at what cost. My sense is that there is no “right” or “wrong”. The most important is to make a conscious decision about which way you want to go.

Timely post for me. Having been stuck in no computer land for over a week I have found lots of time to read and work through a book on life balance and another on soul transformation. I’m asking myself some of the big questions and this post reminds me of why I love Abraham Hicks so much. It’s just so simple, and I have to say that the life I now lead is very much what I wished for, even though it isn’t what I THOUGHT I was wishing for. Now I am trying to uncover whether this is actually where I need to be right now, or whether I need to tweak my asking.

Your site always makes me feel good and it is one I did miss.

That is so true! It’s so easy to wish, just not as easy to decide what to truly wish for. This makes me re-think some of my goals. Is my wish to be a published novelist at all costs, or to be a published author of a good novel I would be proud to be associated with?, and one that doesn’t come at the expense of my family?

Clarity is key! I found that creating a vision map was extremely helpful. I am more visual and this really helped to see my goals in pictures…that way I got yellow and blue!

Slade, glad that you got what you wanted in the end; although as you’ve shared, you could have done without the extra stress!

I’ve been liking the Mac more and more!! While I have a windows PC, I am increasingly working out of a Mac laptop. Let’s just say that I’ve been lucky to find one that is lying around in my house for me to use it!

Oh, this happened to me just last week. I have been working on a slightly decrepit hand-me-down 5 year old Dell laptop for the past year. I’d been steadily putting aside money to buy my dream Mac laptop, holding out for the most responsible time to splurge and get the top of the line in the near future. But I was increasingly annoyed with the performance issues and swearing I’d never go back to Windows again… Wishing to switch back to Mac in both my home based and mobile workspace… Well, my wishes were answered — my little old jalopy finally crashed, and I found myself no longer wanting but actually needing. Pressured and stressed to splurge wasn’t quite how I envisioned it, but I did get what I wanted. (I’m actually pretty thrilled, but I could’ve handled the thought forms I put out there a little more carefully.
