I certainly wasn’t feeling clever and smart when I decided to make my daily trips to the park. I simply looked for the nearest place where I could retreat to. I am fortunate that I stay just two roads away from the park. It takes less than 5 mins of driving time.

I couldn’t help whipping up my camera either. I always carry one around in my huge bag. I had first intended to carry a camera around, because of my kids.

Yes, I have taken many gorgeous shots! Each shot was a wonderful reminder of my lesson for that day or days before. I wasn’t in the mood to write but took the photos as a way of note-keeping back then.

@J.D., “who am I” is a process of discovery that unfolds over time. Hopefully, we get closer and closer to the truth. Incidentally, the book that I was reading this afternoon says that even Jesus, Abraham or Mohammad constantly asked themselves the same question.

Forty-five days in a botanical garden with a camera sounds heavenly. I bet you have a gazillion gorgeous shots that you can use on your blog now. How clever of you to go out and solve one of the first necessities of blogging — good images. Primarily, though, it sounds like you gave yourself a free six-week retreat at a beautiful, natural place, unimpeded by workshops, time schedules, noise and instruction.
