Top of my bucket list is to go on safari in Africa. I’d love to see the wild animals like lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes etc. roaming free in the bush. It could also be an opportunity to see the Victoria Falls on the Zambesi (world’s biggest waterfall) and to bunjee jump from the bridge over the ravine. There’s also the huge wildebeest and zebra migration to see in the Serengeti/Masai Mara but that would have to be a second safari.

Wow Evelyn!

That seriously inspired me-despite the fact I like to think I am pretty proactive in my own bucket list-and you have definitely given me some food for thought and items that I might consider adding to my own life list ( http://emmasbucketlist.com/thelist )

I started my list about a year ago after losing my 2nd parent in 9 months. We seem to already share a lot of our list items, but I will be adding Visit Bhutan and Japan during the cherry Blossom Festival and I am also intrigued by the silk trail! …So far in a year, I have managed to achieve a lot including (deep breath):

Sky Dive for charity (the hospice who cared for my Dad)
Wing-walking
Aerobatic Flying Lesson
Helicopter Lesson
Zorbing
Visit Las Vegas
Ride the Stratosphere Rides
Zip-line from the top of Red Mountain
Hike through the Valley of Fire
Visit Thailand
Ride an Elephant
Bungee Jump into a lake
Do a Catapult Bungee
Take my kids to Disney
Experience Weightlessness in a floatation Tank
Tour the Hoover Dam
Fly through the Grand Canyon in a helicopter
Camp in a Tipi (at Grand Canyon Ranch)
Hike through the Valley of Fire
Stay in the Bellagio
Eat at The Top of The World revolving restaurant
Visit Sea World
Go to a camping Music Festival
Go on a Spa Weekend with my Mum

I do believe that making the list and starting the blog has been so inspirational, and I’m so glad to have stumbled across yours too!!!

Thank you so much for making this! I saw this a few months ago as I was making my bucket list. You helped me organize everything into lists. Lovely thoughts….and I think most people have desires they would love to in their lifetime, but few of us can just throw our hands up and say “yeah, let’s go to Tahiti for a month.” Throughout life there are jobs and mortgages and children and unemployments and illnesses and divorces and remarriages and all that stuff that’s actually known as “life.” And for a majority of people it doesn’t provide enough time or money to do much of anything except get from one day to the next.

When you’re young it’s easy to say “I have dreams., I want to live life before I get too old. ” Everyone has dreams. Even though of us who ARE old. The older I get the more I realize those dreams are just that. My life has been spent sacrificing for others, not working towards what I wanted. Best not to focus on my own wants because it was never meant to be.
